There are several ways you can become involved with Fairbanks Resource Agency:

Closet Collections provides reusable clothing, housewares, and furniture to the Fairbanks Value Village store. Donations are picked up from residential areas and businesses.

Businesses or individuals who would like to make a tax-deductible donation should call us at (907) 451-7766. We will schedule an appointment for pick-up and promptly collect your items. We also have self-service bins for your use at the North Pole Plaza, and in the parking lots of Value Village, the Bentley Mall, and Fairbanks Resource Agency.

Quick Mail Unlimited offers mail handling/supplies, gift wrapping, packaging and bulk mailing.

If you want to avoid the long post office lines drop by our 805 Airport Way office, or if you would like to contract out your bulk mailing needs, call (907) 452-6179.

Spud Buggy can eliminate your tedious task of food preparation and provide you with quick and reliable service. Upon your request, we will wash and wrap baking potatoes, scrub and quarter red "B" potatoes, and clean and peel carrots.

When you join FRA, for as little as $30 per year, you receive our newsletters, special invitations to events, and announcements and news about legislation, funding, and people with disabilities in Alaska. Join today and show your support for the valuable services FRA provides to the Fairbanks community.

FRA holds several fundraising/educational events throughout the year with proceeds benefiting FRA services.  The City Sampler in May  showcases Fairbanks restaurants and caterers with live music and excellent door prizes; the event benefits FRA Senior Services and attendees also learn about senior issues in our community. For the Night of Comedy in October, FRA selects a nationally known comedian with a disability to entertain and educate the audience about living with a disability.  If you are interested in sponsoring an event, please contact the FRA Public Education Office at (907) 456-8901.
