  • High school graduation or equivalent; a bachelor's degree is preferred
  • Current Alaska Driver's License, Infant/Child/Adult CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Good driving record; licensed more than three years.

Driver, Closet Collections (PT, summer only):   Operates Closet Collections van and performs pick-up service for donated items for FRA Closet Collections.  High school degree or equivalent with demonstrated ability to communicate with the general public in professional and business-like manner. Knowledge of Fairbanks area roads preferred. Closes on Friday June 13, 2008.

Lead Custodian Worker, EAFB Basewide:  The Lead Worker performs maintenance duties as directed by the Project Supervisor.  The Lead Worker hours are dependent upon contract requirements and may vary from twenty to forty hours per week.  Must be available to work all possible shifts including weekends.  May be assigned, on a temporary or recurring basis as a relief or replacement Project Supervisor.  Requires High School Diploma or G.E.D.  and one year custodial/maintenance experience. Assistant Project Supervisor, EAFB Basewide: Manages the execution of Performance Work Statement (PWS) of assigned contracts.  Hours are dependent upon contract requirements and may vary from twenty to forty hours per week, some overtime possible.  In addition, the Assistant Project Supervisor provides assistance to the Project Supervisor with supervision of assigned contract employees. Requires High School Diploma or G.E.D., one-year supervisory experience, and one-year of custodial experience. Closes on Friday June 20, 2008.

Residential Site Supervisor:  Responsible for supervising, training and providing technical guidance to assigned Supported Living Specialists and residents in FRA's residential program. Closes Friday, June 20, 2008.

Supported Living Specialist: Provides and/or coordinates support necessary for adults who receive residential services to live as independently as possible. Responsibilities include advocating for and protecting rights individuals receiving services, planning and implementing personal service plans and insuring the safety, well-being and quality of life of program participants. High school graduation or equivalent and one year verifiable work experience. Closes on Friday, June 20, 2008.

Respite Care Provider, Family Services:  Provides short term, direct care for eligible consumers to allow primary care provider the opportunity to take time from care-giving to attend to personal matters.  High school diploma or equivalent. Closes on Friday June 20, 2008.

Custodian, Ft. Wainwright (60-day temp):  Performs sanitary and contract services at designated contracts.  Position is on-call and should expect one to forty hours per week.  Available to work all possible shifts including weekends.  Closes on Friday June 20, 2008.

Stocker, Ft. Wainwright  (60-day temp):   Stocks and dusts merchandise and shelves, identifies and removes damaged items, breaks down and disposes of boxes, and performs other duties as assigned.  Transporting working crews and equipment may be required.  High school diploma and 1 year experience in grocery stocking preferred, Alaska Driver’s License required.  Closes on Friday June 20, 2008.

Family Specialist: Responsible for assessing family needs, developing Personal Service Plans and implementing intervention programs that are educational and supportive.  The Family Specialist is also responsible for completing written plans to secure funding via grants, Home and Community Based Waivers, TEFRA and other sources as identified. Requires Bachelors’ Degree in Human Services field with preferred concentration of study in areas related to development disabilities, and two years previous Social Services work experience to include case management responsibilities. Closes on Friday, June 20, 2008.

Family Services Director:   Responsible for Family Services program, which includes support of individuals and families in their own homes, foster care, and respite care settings.  Program planning and development including budget, staff recruitment, training, and supervision and interagency coordination.  Bachelor's Degree in Social or Behavioral Science, Education, Rehabilitation or related field plus five years experience working with individuals experiencing developmental disabilities, two of which must be a the management level. Closes Monday June 30, 2008.  

Assistant Finance Director:   Assists the Finance Director in the supervision of the support staff and is responsible for assisting in the fiscal management of Fairbanks Resource Agency’s resources. The position requires substantive knowledge of administrative non-profit business management, accounting principles and organizational skills.  Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Public Administration or related degree. CPA Preferred.  Five years experience in areas of administration of non-profit organizations, fiscal management, budget development, inventory/purchasing, and personnel management. Closes Monday June 30, 2008.  

Community Development DirectorResponsible for planning, scheduling, implementing and evaluating the coordination of planned giving program and other fundraising activities and membership services.  These duties involve public relations, agency public education, agency events, and the promotion of agency programs and services, events planning and coordination, public appearances, participation in community activities and preparation of the annual report. 

1.                  Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent training and experience in Public Relations, Fundraising, Charitable Giving or Marketing. Minimum two years experience and knowledge of private non-profit or foundation fundraising activities. Minimum two years experience in journalism, media, advertising, marketing or related field. Closes Monday June 30, 2008.
